About

Scouts Gibraltar includes several groups, sections, and meeting nights across Gibraltar. The Find Scout Group page shows regular Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers meetings running across the 1st/4th Marquis of Milfords' Haven Own Scout Group, 3rd Europa Scout Group, and 5th Sea Scouts Group, with different nights and locations depending on section.

The programme itself is built around the wider Scouts 'skills for life' model. Scouts Gibraltar describes Scouting as a youth movement centred on fun, challenge, and adventure, with young people developing practical skills, learning about their community and the wider world, building confidence, and taking part in outdoor activities, camps, and awards.

There is also a strong local history behind it. Scouts Gibraltar says the first recognised overseas unit under UK control was chartered in Gibraltar in 1908, and Scouting has continued locally for more than a century. For parents, that gives this a much more established feel than a casual after-school activity, especially if your child likes structure, badges, teamwork, and the idea of progressing through the different sections over time.
