Rainbows Gibraltar

Rainbows is the youngest section in Girlguiding and welcomes girls aged 4 to 7 for play, learning, and fun in a colourful, safe space. That makes it a gentler starting point than some clubs that expect children to arrive ready for drills, performance, or competition.

Rainbows is built around games, creative activities, friendship, group skills, local trips, and simple badges, with girls choosing their way through the programme as they learn new things together. For parents, that usually translates into a regular weekly group that feels social, playful, and age-appropriate rather than overly structured.

In Gibraltar, Rainbows sits inside the wider Girlguiding Gibraltar network, which the overseas territories page describes as a long-running organisation with more than 200 members across Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and Rangers. That gives it a more established community feel than a standalone little-ones activity, with a clearer path into the older guiding sections later on.
